Cruise and Event for Burt
Harrigan's Drift Inn Harrigan's Lane, Gold Coast
SE Qld is holding a cruise in memorial of the passing of Burt Reynolds and Brisbane Car Meets And Cruising is hosting it.
as there are a lot of people that are car enthusiasts because of Burt's movies as he did alot involving cars, like the most iconic movie he made- Smokey and the Bandit.
A lot of people didn't know that he owned a huge car collection of 59 cars and he was a ambassador for Pontiac & also for Nissan + he was the first person in America to own a Nissan Skyline. So we are calling for all car enthusiasts to rally together to show our thanks to a Legend. We are calling for a heap of Pontiac Trans-am Bandit's and of Nissan Skyline's to lead the cruise followed by all the other makes and models that want to join in to make this a huge awesome event (and to show the rest of Australia and the World how we roll).
* The reason BCMC are hosting this event is because just like Burt Reynolds was BCMC are true car enthusiasts and we love and appreciate all cars.

-DETAILS OF CRUISE-
* We will be meeting at Harrigan's Drift Inn at 10:45am (where we will get photos of all the different cars, plus have Burt memorial cruise stickers to purchase for $2 by Mad ink Customs & Ash from Rebel Fm will talk to some owners on air)
* 11:10am we will ask everyone to go jump in their Cars, start them up and turn on your lights.
* 11:15am we will pull out of Harrigan's Drift Inn to make our way out to the M1 and cruise down the Motorway to 7-9 Expo Ct Ashmore to - Von Bibra Nissan Gold Coast,
The order of Cars for cruise-
Trans am's
then any Prime Movers (Bandit Style)
then any American Police cars
then Skylines
then American Muscle
then Nissans
then every other type of car.
* 12:00pm we will arrive at 7-9 Expo Ct Ashmore at Von Bibra Nissan Gold Coast and park everyone inside where will have Food & Coffee vans, grab some more photos, check out eveeyones else's cars and chat, plus there will be a drone to get some awesome shots and we will have prizes to hand out to-
The Best Pontiac Trans-am
The Best Nissan Skyline
The Best Burt Reynolds look a like + more.
There will also be photographs taken at the Start. during the Cruise, and at the Finsh.
There is a very big chance thet media will be covering this event as well as Magazines and all pictures taken copies will be sent to the Burt Reynolds site in America and Nissan in Japan & Pontiac in America sites (again this Cruise and Event is open to all makes and models and enthusiasts).
There is to be no hooning speeding or burnouts as video footage will be forwarded on to the Police, this is a great day out to pay tribute to a great Car Enthusiasts.
