(Public Event)

Cancer Cruise is organised by Box Rallies in partnership with Cancer Council. We are the largest community-based fundraiser for the Cancer Council in Australia having raised $27 million (and climbing) for cancer research in the last 12 years.
Cancer Cruise is the latest fundraising offering from Box Rallies and is being held on the last Sunday in November every year (this year the event will be November 28th). Cancer Cruise is an enjoyable, relaxed drive with family and friends with teams having raised funds for cancer research prior to the day itself. We have hosted cruises in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Devonport, Hobart, Margaret River, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
We also offer a Do Your Own (DYO) Cruise option, a great opportunity to organise your own private cruise for the club to offer to members. The DYO Cruise will take place on the same day as the Box Rallies Hosted Cruises and you are able to invite members into your DYO Cruise once you have set up your registration. No-one outside your invitation list will be able to join your DYO Cruise, which will be named under your club’s name.
We know you know how to cruise, but do you know how to fundraise and can you be sure that the money raised is going to the right place? Box Rallies will take away all the hassles of planning your entry with all of the fundraising legalities, online fundraising pages for each team taken care of plus access to over 100 proven fundraising ideas, regular newsletters and phone calls from the Box Rallies team to assist them.
We say on our website that Cancer Cruise is about fundraising, family, friends and cars but really, it’s about trying to change our society from considering ‘cancer’ as a dirty word and a subject best avoided to something we openly talk about.
The ethos is a relaxed day out with your club mates in a supportive environment where everyone has made the effort to raise funds for cancer research and to talk about why they have done so.
Why not make November 28th your club's Fundraising Day for Cancer Research and be a part of a national fundraising project with structure taken care of!
The route for the day (in a DYO) cruise will be up to your club. We ask that you follow the same format as the other Cancer Cruises’.
