(Public Event)

28 th August 2016 AT TULLY PARK MACLEAN BRIDGE

ONLY ENTRY OFF GREENBANK ROAD IN TO BERYL PARADE.

Access to the park off Mt Lindesay Highway is closed for the day as ordered by the local police, in the interest of public safety.

ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

Owners of veteran, vintage, classic, sports, street rods, custom cars, race and drag cars, fast fours and modified vehicles, including bikes, trucks and utes are invited to attend and display their vehicles.

JUDGING

For an extra $5 if you choose, you may have your vehicle judged for a trophy. There are seven categories plus one trophy for 'the car of the show'. Judged vehicles need to be on site by 9am and stay on site until approximately 12.30pm for presentation of trophies.
SWAP MEET

No extra fees are payable for a reasonably sized swap site. We are sure that vendors who want an extra large site would be happy to pay a bit extra for such a site. The swap is held in an area away from where displayed and judged cars are parked. Please avoid rolling in at any earlier than 5.30am in the morning. It is not fair to local residents.

PROVIDED ON THE DAY

Musical entertainment is provided on the day. Children will have free access to a jumping castle. Food, drinks, (non alcoholic as we are on public ground and thus it is illegal to provide and consume same) coffee and iceblocks etc will be available. All catering rights are reserved by the organizers.

TRADE SITES
There are some sellers who prefer to be situated on the edge of the vehicle display area rather than in the swap site area. This is not a problem to organize. Most of these folk are professional traders. If you are one of those who don't want to be positioned in the swap area please ring one of the numbers listed below and arrangements will be made with you to have this happen. We do charge a fee of $25 for a site in the vehicle display area and that fee includes the entry fees for 2 people.

ENTRY FEES

Entry fee is $5 per person for all people entering the ground who are over 14. If you choose to have your vehicle judged there is an extra fee of $5 per vehicle. Gates open at 6am Sunday morning.
THERE IS NO EXTRA FEE FOR PARKING.

DOGS CANNOT BE ALLOWED ON SITE. POTENTIAL INSURANCE ISSUES MAKE THIS ADVISABLE FOR BOTH THE DOG OWNER AND THE CLUB.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?

Obviously we want the event to go ahead. However it is being held on grounds controlled by the Logan City Council. We (a small club) are responsible for damage to the surface of the area and will be guided by the decision of officials from the council if the event should have to be cancelled. We will advise of any cancellation on this site and in as many other public forums as we can get to, with as much warning time as possible. Please do not blame us if you don't get the message as we will do our best.

EVENT SUPPORT FOR A WORTHWHILE LOCAL CAUSE

Last year and again this year the event will support an organization called Crowson Park, Riding for the Disabled, based in the Jimboomba area. It provides people of all ages, with a disability, the opportunity to have equestrian experiences. It receives no government aid. Last year we provided them with a round yard plus extra money to help with running expenses. We look forward again this year to help them to be able to improve their facilities.
